Stars and Tulle Dress at the 2021 Tony Awards

On September 26, 2021, Bernadette Peters turned heads as she arrived on the Tony Awards red carpet in a dazzling black Bob Mackie gown.

Silver and gold sequins dotted the gown and formed five pointed stars that curved down the length of the dress like the Milky Way.

Tulle adorned the gown’s off-the-shoulder neckline and partially covered its asymmetrical floor-length skirt.

The dress shimmered from the sequins and the vertical lines of black bugle beads.
