Short, silent, black-and-white films shot in a variety of formats on 100-foot rolls of black-and-white Kodak Tri-X film. Warhol used a stationary 16mm Bolex camera lit with a spotlight and stark, dark background. n.b. The films were shot at standard sound speed, 24 frames per second, but Warhol specified that prints be projected at the slower speed of 16 frames per second which affected the timing of the frames and length of the films.
